Just saw this on Adamant's site. (note: I'm not affiliated in any way with Adamant... just looks cool and has the author of Iron Lords of Jupiter which I enjoyed to no end... )

Work has begun on a product that we're really excited about: MARS D20 will be a D20 setting, usable with any D20 system -- Fantasy, Modern or Future, inspired by the "planetary romance" genre popularized by writers like Edgar Rice Burroughs. Science-fantasy adventure and intrigue under the Moons of Mars! The book is being written by Lizard (the author of the Polyhedron D20 minigame Iron Lords of Jupiter) and Gareth-Michael Skarka (author of CORSAIR and much of the THRILLING TALES line), and will be released as both a PDF and a printed version.

I was just thinking over how to do a Barsoom game with d20! This is great news! Though I have to wait on it!!!! ;)

That sounds interesting. I wonder if they are going to offer stats or just recommendations on how to implement the setting under different rulesets?

Rock. On.

ILOJ is by far my favorite Polyhedron game, and Erica's Naussica campaign whetted my appetite for planetary romance. And Lizard is one imaginiative author.

How big is it?

Edit: Usable with D&D or d20 modern. Coolness. Sounds like it would plug right in to Second World, which has an as-yet-to-be-defined fantasy Mars. Cool.

Mars d20 might be something to look forward to. It's hard for me to find RGP material to get excited about lately. Maybe this will fill the bill.

Not that Lizard couldn't do it, but he's be hard pressed to match GURPS Mars' treatment of the red planet.
I agree that GURPS Mars is fantastic. It is one of two GURPS products I bought. I grabbed GURPS Mars entirely for the "fluff" when I was in an ERB Barsoom craze. It is worth it, worth it, worth it! for any Mars fan.

Iron Lords of Jupiter was the greatest thing about d20 Modern and the most inspiring of the Polyhedron articles for sure.

Can the author or someone from Adamant tell us more about this product. At least when we can expect it. I intend to use it in combination with Grim Tales and Slavelord of Cydonia, so want it pretty quickly!
