Martial Arts

I remember them mentioning a Martial Arts module in the announcements, but I'm wondering if that's a just a possible module about combat maneuvers and 4e type martial powers.

Or if it could be something else. I'm always interested in something that covers a wide range of styles from various fencing schools, shaolin wushu styles and more.

If they do a martial arts module, it best be better than anything we have, officially, seen for any edition of D&D to date.

I want something like RPGObjects Blood and Fists, the maneuver system in Malhavoc's Book of Iron Might, or Ken Hood's d20-skills-n feat Martial Arts system,
 

If I'm remembering correctly, it was mentioned as part of a hypothetical scenario (about a DM who wants to construct a fighting-heavy campaign, and drops in those modules) so I don't even think we can say at this point whether or not it actually exists / will exist.

That said, it isn't unlikely for a game like D&D. At this point though, it could be anything. It might be like 4e, it might be like disarm/trip maneuvers were in 3e, or it could be akin to something out of Monte Cook's book (Book of Martial Might?). It might include all three of those as distinct options, or something we've never seen before that amalgamates all three ideas into one.

At this point, I don't think we have enough for more than baseless speculation (not that that can't be fun).
