'Martial Power' cover change

Ha! Bill O'Conner! I gotcha now.

Now I gotta check out Claudio's stuffs!

I know next to nothing about art, including RPG art - and even I know Claudios stuff. ;)

I suppose it is because he's always running around on these boards, unlike the other artists - at least to my knowledge.

Epic Fail at humor.

I believe the art is by Bill O'Conner. You could hire Claudio too :D
Y'know, I was gonna say it was William O'Connor, but your "new artist" post gave me pause. Glad to see I wasn't mistaken.

As for your advice to Nicolas, you know what they say: "don't give out any advice you can't follow"! ;)

Here, have a dragonborn:

Would someone please, give this man some work?

Very nice work, Klaus.

So, the inevitable question:

What was the old cover and does anyone have a link to it?

If someone does, please post it!

Once I saw the new cover, I scoured the internet (with my weak search-fu) for the originally shown cover just so I could save the image--that's how much I liked the original art. Unfortunately, I have been unable to find it.
A cookie to whomever does!

Keep in mind it might not be an actual "cover change." We often use placeholder art if the cover art isn't ready. (Like with the FR Player's Guide.)

Holy crap, Klaus! That is *exactly* the dragonborn warlord I just finished putting together for my first 4E game, right down to the axe, shield, and chain mail combo. Nice job!

WotC_Logan... FYI, the FRCG Drizzt placeholder cover is still all over the WotC D&D website. It's on the product page, on the preview article, even on the homepage showing what's coming this month. But all the online retailers have been showing the final cover for months!

People that only check the WotC site and then go to the bookstore may not find what they are looking for...

That's the dragonborn warlord PC in my game. The player went for an offbeat look, with the silver scales, and will be playtesting my racial-based Paragon Path for dragonborn.
