...I don't actually own any books by him. How is his stuff? (Scanning through the 3.x books I kept due to their awesomeness I realized that Ari wrote some of my favorite 3.x material) I want more encounter or at-will stances. I like the powerful fighter daily stances, but some that are more Bo9S'd be rad (In my homebrew 4e game a couple months ago - before the pdfs were leaked - I allowed L.2 Utilities to be (what I thought were) weak buffing stances). While I won't see them in this book, I think stances for non-fighters/swordmages'd be cool. As far as the beasts go, I think they'll have a few 'typical' ones... and then say 'Look in the AV or MM for more!'I REALLY like that idea of a grab-based fighter. It reminds me of... some German fencing I once skimmed over on TEH INTARWEBz a few months back. Things about engaging the enemy in melee and then wrestling them to the ground. I gotta' say that I still feel hand-jiving can be a free action. But, clarification'd be good. In regards to the non-(or partial-)divine paladin... hrmm... I don't think they're going to do it. I'd like to see it. Actually, I take that back. If they make generic classless/multiclass powers - sort of like the spellscarred - that are of a physical variety it could work. I know I've seen a bunch of ideas in the houserules section on common combat maneuver powers. I think something like that would be quite excellent. ...actually, I think if I don't see anything like that in martial power I may have to try my hand at making something.
