It may seem like an odd choice but I'd go with Tobey Maguire as Spider-man and Willem Dafoe as the Goblin.

I really don't think that would work. It'd be like casting Ben Afleck as Daredevil or Sam Elliot as General Ross or something.

Werewolf By Night or Tomb of Dracula

Actually, I've heard somewhere that WEREWOLF is supposedly going to be made. Of course, you should bear in mind that SPIDER-MAN was "going to be made" for, like, 20 years.

As for TOD, there are rumors that, at least, Hannibal King is supposed to be appearing in BLADE 3. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if Dracula makes an appearance in a BLADE film eventually. It'd be a nice way to close out the series.

You're putting Ben Affleck's performance of Matt Murdock/Daredevil on the same level as Tobey Maguire's performance of Peter Parker/Spider-Man???

That is like comparing Mel Gibson (movie star) to Ron Jeremy (adult film star). :p

As it so happens, Blade III WILL have Dracula.

Captain America, set in WW2 so we have Bucky as well. Red Skull as the villain, of course. You can have it all; some comic relief as Cap has to deal with being Private Steve and be bullied by sergeants, or Bucky being the camp scrounge who walks off with anything not nailed down. Horror with the Red Skull and his Dust of Death. Action, natch.

Doctor Strange. Really not much more to say, there :) Bring in Wong and Clea. Maybe see Rintrah. The Ancient One has to show up, of course. Baron Mordo as the villain. Doc also has a great origin story that could be updated a bit, get some more connections between characters going (Maybe he gets drunk at one of his parties and botches an operation; the person he's operating on is Mordo's daughter.. stuff like that.)

Thor. Good lord. All the Norse Mythos to play with, coming down on the head of an ordinary guy who picks up that hammer... that would be great. Odin. Bifrost Bridge. MM mm good.

Varnae would be really, really nice to see on-screen, too.

If I had my way...I'd ideally like to see a big movie of The Infinity Gauntlet...but, well, no. The budget would be immense.

The only Marvel thing is limiting...I'd love to see a movie of From Hell that, say, was actually like the book, and where the victims actually resembled the real ones (really, how many East End whores looked like Heather Graham, do you think?). Even though that version would be an LOTR epic. Slaine could make a cool movie as well, and would be a neat hybrid of the fantasy movies that are big now and the trend of comic book flicks.

Wolverine in his own movie.

Iron Man, all the way. That would just be sick.

I wouldn't mind seeing a "Cosmic Marvel" movie with the Surfer, Adam Warlock, Captain Marvel, Thanos, and Galactus.

I agree with WayneLigon about the necessity of a Cap film, but I think you could make it a lot more interesting by going with the modern, thawed-out Cap, possibly with WWII flashbacks. It seems like the best Cap stories play up his feeling out of place in a world that passed him by (socially-speaking) 60 years ago.

I think these characters would be good for Marvel movies
Black Knight- with Morgan Le Fay and Mordred as the villians
Giantman and Wasp
Heroes For Hire (Power Man and Iron Fist)

I'm not going to object to Ben Afleck, but what's wrong with Sam Elliot? I thought he did an awesome job...

Or Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, I mean have you even heard of him? Plus I hear he's anything but short.
