MASS COMBAT: Cry Havoc or WOTC Mini Handbook

Alright, I'll be the salmon swimming upstream here...

I prefer the Handbook's mass combat rules. I think the key for me though is how do you want your battle to look?

Are you comfortable with abstract units and laying down a grid? Cry Havoc might be the better choice if this is the case.

If you love terrain and lining your minis up - the Handbook is superior.

Obviously, I'm in the latter camp. The movement and action components of the Miniature Handbook make it move more quickly than many other Mass Combat games. However, it is a true miniatures mass combat game - a turn off for many roleplayers.
