1. Allow PCs to enter the battle as "Champions"

2. Allow the use of miniatures for tactics. The rules should be compatible with any type of miniatures (or even coins or poker chips for us low on money)

3. Easy to convert units to standard D&D rules and vive-versa. I don't want to have to spend a lot of time converting monsters/PCs from their individual stats to some wildly different unit stats. Moreover, the rules should be similar to standard d20. That is to say 20+ mods vs AC

Ok so I've written a system and we are finishing playtest - bunch of warhammer gamers...

1. They are called heroes. Heroes can join infantry and cavalry ranks, form their own units or act independently

2 Three modifier types to comabt: unit (things like strength, feats, magic); strategy (flanking, charging, surprising); battlefield (terrain, elevation, weather). The only issue regarding minis is getting enough of them... counters work well.

3. Simple excel spreadsheet can convert any character or monster. Even without this pen and pencil is simple. The system is build around d20 mechanic, hit points, stand magic using. A slight difference is what we call the mass combat mechanic this enables extremely fast play, irregarless of the number of models in a unit and necessarily changes the die rolling mechanic. Don't worry its very close.

So either I'll get this published, or Cry Haqvoc will come out and end the need :)
