Mass Combat for D&D

I woundering if any of you guys has a good mass combat system for D&D, i haven't found it covered much any where. So i was hoping to get some opinions and advice from you guys.

The D&D Cyclopedia had an interesting system called War Machine. It could be updated foir 3e relatively easily. Matter of fact, I think someone might have already done this, in the conversion library. I'll check.

There is also a set of skirmish-level rules.

Two suplements are coming out which have mass combat.

I for one would love to see Wizards put out a 3rd edition of battlesystem.

While I agree that WotC conversion would be preferable, that one looks to be pretty good.
