Masters of Science FIction on ABC

Maybe, but I don't get Showtime!
Well, then you'd have a reason to get it...along with Dexter, Weeds, and the aforementioned Masters of Horror.

Or barring that, where there's a sieres, there be DVD's!

Cigarette Burns
Wasn't this the story written by that self important and slavish Harry Knowles lapdog Drew Mcweeny (aka Moriarty on Ain't it Cool News)?

Don't know if I'll seek this show out though. I much prefer series science fiction to anthologies.

Even some of the ham-handed ones were entertaining. Homecoming was hilarious.

But yeah, it's very hit-or-miss. I really liked Cigarette Burns and Dreams in the Witch House, but several of of the others (first season anyway, 2nd season is still trickling into my netflix queue...) were pretty bad.

I would say Homecoming and The Washingtonians were the pits (you won't have gotten the latter one yet). Dreams in the Witch House and Cigarette Burns were well-done. My favorite three would be Sick Girl, Jennifer, and The Screwfly Solutions.

Yeah, it was.

*shrug* So? It was still good.
And I'll take your word for it, since I've never seen the episode in question and probably never will.

That still doesn't make Mcweeny less of an ass and a hypocrite.

But you're not having watched it does make your axe-grinding off-topic and pretty much threadcrapping.

There's a big difference between appreciating a creative person's work and appreciating the person himself.

Heh, yeah, if I avoided every movie/tv show where one of the cast/production staff was a chump I'd have to throw away my TV... ;)

Okay. My bad. Apologies for that. :o

Never said I'd avoid it. Just said I'd never seek it out. But if it do get to see it by chance, maybe then.

And there are quite a few people in the entertainment biz that I like who are publicly known for being chumps as you say. Russell Crowe is a prime example. And then there's Tom Baker, who despite being the iconic Doctor (and a fave of mine), is well known for being an ass.
