Masters of the Wild

Ranger, you might want to get rid if the Exotic Weapon Master, it really just looks like something that WotC would just never do. Especially in this book.

No, you don't understand, the names of all those prestige classes and feats are from the list on their site. For all we know, I could've guessed it spot on.

But if not . . . I could be persuaded to write some of them up.

Oh, but to clarify, the Psionics book on the Natural 20 Press forum won't be written by me. It was proposed by Gnomeworks.

For those of us in Vancouver, Canada, you can expect to see Masters of the Wild on 11 February or thereabouts. That's the earliest the distributors will be willing to release the product...

RangerWickett, you're evil and cruel! You've made me very excited with your "preview" but I know it isn't going to be half as good as my expectations demand, I fear.

Given RangerWickett's amazing imaginative stretches (though some have referred instead to his suprising powers of prevarication) and similiar powers spread throughout the community, one wonders why the people at WoTC don't start their class books by posting here (and on the offical boards) to say "Hey we're starting Masters of the Wild" anybody have any good ideas?"

I've known game companies to do something similiar (MOO3 comes to mind).

Especially considering how often what's posted here is better than what's eventually printed...

Wicket,
While you did post that false/made up info for some things... everything else I already know... but had a good laugh while reading it... arg

Somehow, I think the best idea would be to not worry about anything RangerW or anyone else says about upcoming prodocts. Then curl up into a little ball, and hibernate throught the winter like I do...

oh wait... you guys are normal...

never mind

Personally I would like to see your version, Ranger man, of the S&S stuff. I liked your post for that, and I STILL feel yours would have been a SUBSTANIAL upgrade compared to what came out.

I'd be especially interested in your take on the Geomancer, RW. The idea of drawing magic from the surrounding earth was one of the few really cool ideas in M:TG.
