Material for Full-Plate

Hi folks,

a dwarvenplayer in my group has taken DEX 14 to be able to take dodge (-> Dwarven Defender).

So as a tank she tooks a full-plate but this allowes only a DEX modifier of +1 to AC. So it would be good for her to make it of mithril for the use of DEX 14.

But on the other hand the adamantine material seem to fit for a dwarven fighter in full-plate to grant him DR.

Is there some sort of compromise?

OA's "Great Armor" (heavy samurai armor) is +7 / +2.

edit: Great Armor is known in my Homebrew as "elven plate"

edit II: Elven Plate - 1000gp, +7 / +2, ACp -5, SF 40%, speed as heavy, 45lb (true Elven Plate would be Mythril though).

Nimbleness. +1 equivalent bonus, raises Max Dex by +1 and lowers ACP by -2, MIC p13.
