One of my players has serious trouble doing arithmetic on the fly. Every time she rolls a die and adds a modifier it's a pretty major deal for her, and it's reducing her enjoyment of just playing the game. We're up to seventh level now, and each level's new, bigger modifiers makes it that much worse for her. So last night I asked her if it would be helpful to have something on a portable computing device to make the math go away, and she was quite enthusiastic about the notion. I could code something up myself, but it occurred to me that you fine folks might be able to offer some ideas for software that already does what we're looking for.
Here's my initial list of criteria:
1) Simple final interface, with as few extraneous elements as possible relative to a single player using it for her character.
2) Ability to save her main dice expressions into one-button presses.
3) Ability to toggle a variety of modifiers, such as flanking, inspire courage, haste, etc.
4) Those toggles would modify the appropriate main dice expressions when she presses the button.
Does anything like this already exist?
