Max skill rank

Max ranks in a skill is (character level +3), right? So, if you were a 4th level rogue/5th level wizard, could you have 12 ranks in Decipher Script even thought it is a rogue exclusive skill?

On exclusive skills, only the class levels that have the skill count. So your max ranks are actually 7.
