Max spells memorized per level

Where in the SRD (or PHB, DMG) does it talk about maximum spells memorized per level. Blind today for some reason. Or does someone know just offhand. Thanks!

you don't memorize spells in the 2000ed or 3.11ed for workgroups.

For base spells, look in the class description. In the RTF version those are in ClassesI.rtf and ClassesII.rtf

Bonus spells for high ability scores are listed in Basics.rtf

Well, they call it "prepare" now, but it is essentially the same thing.

It's under the class description. There's one chart for spells known and another chart for spells prepared.

Yup, chart for class then the chart for bunuses. What I'm wanting to know is...

There's no cap? Chart says 4 and your bonus allows 4 for a total of 8. Pulling those numbers out of my ass so don't ask me to justify them. But you get my meaning? Is there no limit (other than the charts and bonuses) to the number of spells you can memorize and/or cast per level? For instance it doesn't cap off at say 6 or something even though your bonus will allow 8. I'm really hoping I'm not sounding like a complete idiot.

Nope, there isn't a max. If you're a 20th level caster with 100 in your casting stat, you have a *lot* of spells. =P

hehe if you have 100 in

- INT, you can map the person you're looking at's DNA in your head.
- CHA, hordes of screaming japanese constantly run after you.
- WIS, you can see so far in the future that you see in the past.
