Maximised Divine Sacrifice

Could a paladin maximise divine sacrifice and get +30 to damage instead of 5d6?

Heck, I might take maximise spell just for that

Yes. But it'll take a 4th lvl slot, & that's one less Holy Sword.

True, but when you have two 4th level spell slots, which is a very high level paladin I will admit, then you can have a holy sword and divine sac, which is just nasty amounts of damag.e


Actually I just thought up another question, would holy sword double the sacrifice damage as well?

Nope. Even though the dice are maximized, they are still bonus dice and thus do not multiply in a critical.

Its not a crit, though, it just says your weapon deals double damge to evil creatures.

Bonus damage dice are never doubled.

Unless Holy Sword mentions that it also doubles the extra damage from, for example, the Flaming property, it would not double the extra damage from Sacrifice.
