McFarlane Dragons III Pictures Up

Wow, these are almost cool enough for me to want to run a fantasy game again!

Nah, not really. But they are cool.

I like that his dragons aren't the six-limbed creatures of D&D, but rather more like flying lizards - in the fantasy campaigns I ran, this was true as well.

This set is not so good IMHO. Sorcerer & Eternal look gift shop-y. A few too many human details in the line overall [legs on water :( ] and the komodo slot is wasted on a butt sucking* half dragon kappa. Once again only 2 are on my must have list - Fire and berserker.

*Kappa really do suck blood from the anus

Uh, thanks for sharing that little tidbit there...

Anyways, yeah, Only Fire and Berserker look good to me. Maybe Komodo will be a neat sort of Half-Dragon Titan, but I doubt it. I'm still wondering why Series 2 isn't out yet -- doesn't the release date still say October 2005?

Delays are very common for toy lines, bad economy, high shipping costs etc, etc.

I have a raging hate-on for the new komodo since the previous 2 komodo clan dragons have been spot on D&D dragons. As such i am going to be as unkind to it as possible.

Nightmares of lovecraft should be out soon too.

Hadn't heard of these before, so thanks! That Cthulhu is really cool (and it'll look great on the table when we're playing Arkham Horror...).

the Lovecraft figures have been delayed to Fall 2006. can't recall exactly where I saw that, I think it was somewhere on ENWorld.
