Most definitely. The five sample mechs in Mecha Power Cores will be the first to receive the Mechævolutions treatment. The Urban Combat Mechas will be next; I'll release all nine of these mechs for free.
There are other plans in the works, too... possibly a subscription periodical akin to MODERNIZED, but specifically for Mechævolutions. Something with a good mix of setting articles and new game mechanics (like new mechs and the new gear in them). This'll be the kind of thing where I'll be looking for writers (especially writers who already write mecha material).
I'm looking for a mecha system that I could use, and for me to publish items from. Not sure when I might be able to start but it's a product line I would like to restart so as long as I could write from my company I wouldn't mind writing products for your system.
First of all, EKG, I'm going to drop you an e-mail soon because I want to discuss some things with you privately.
Second, good thing about the MæSRD is that, once completed, you will have a complete mecha system to both use and publish products for (heck, you won't even have to ask me permission or pay me royalties; that's the beauty of the OGL).
I am quite digging the PDP system. It adds a great deal of depth and flexibility. Possibly enough to make up for the sadness that equipment slots causes me. Keep up the good work.
Roudi and EKG, why don't you drop me an email at daniel [at] highmoonmedia.com so we can talk mecha a little? I have some intriguing ideas I'd like to brainstorm along with you and David Jarvis of Reality Deviants.
You go, Mr. Baize! It was you who gave me the idea for PDP in the first place. I just gave it a name and a home.
Hal, I actually tried to send you a mail to the address we previously used for correspondence, about two days ago, and I just received the mail undelivered notice. Is there another address I can reach you at? If so, drop me a line at my personal email address
