Mechamancy testing call-

<bump>

Hey Grumpy, any news on the clockwork/mechamancy book? You still looking for playtesters? Any rough guess as to the publication date?

Testing finished just a couple of weeks ago, folks. You'll have to wait for the book (hopefully not long). If it's any consolation, this thing is geek heaven - quite aside from the mechanics (which are cool), there are about a bajillion easter eggs to spot, maybe more.

I'll let the author field any further comments when he comes along...

I'd be interested in reviewing the manuscript and setting up a playtest. I've long wondered why the combination of magic and simple machines has never been exploited in any of the fantasy settings I've dealt with... one would think that mechanical advantage would be obvious to a person with the intelligence of your typical Wizard.

I'm a big Renaissance fan. the idea of mixing DaVinci and Magic really interests me and I have been working on an Elizabethian concept for a game.

Please!

Hmm interesting...

I am not in a gaming group at current, due to the summer vacation at university. I would however be interested in critiquing mechanics for you. Also not afraid to spell check :p. I have written loads of my own mechanics so I have a fair idea of what is balanced and works well.
