Media Players - Which do you like best?

Winamp for music
Media Player Classic + FFDSHOW for video. Some videos still play better in VLC so I keep that around also. I also like MPlayer + MPlayer Windows Front-end.

Quicktime for trailers

Realplayer (much better than it used to be) for the rare realplayer vid/audio file that comes by way

I generally go with Windows Media Player. It handles most of the file types I come across without any problems, and I don't have to bother downloading a player or anything like that. About the only time I have to use anything different is when I encounter the occasional QuickTime file.

There is one player I will absolutely not touch and that is RealPlayer. I despise RealPlayer.
A big "ditto" for me. Windows Media Player handles all my music needs (and mostly video).

QuickTime for the most part. The others if I have to. I use Windows Media Player for wmvs, but once Flip4Mac comes oout I'll be switching to that.

Experience wise, I found the iTunes to iPod interface to be amazingly effective, and from that I just began using iTunes. But I am not devoted to one in particular music wise. Right now I am tinkering around with Windows Media Player 10 and find it works too.

Video wise is another issue. I tend to use PowerDVD. Just like it, I guess, not because I tried a whole bunch of different programs and thought it was the best.

iTunes all the way for music. I use winamp for its streaming video network, but that's about it. I like iTunes organization of the music so I can find what I'm looking for immediately. Smart Playlists are a must for the lazy. I use winamp sometimes for streaming and iTunes sometimes for streaming. iTunes all the way for ripped music, though.

Media Player Classic for my video needs, including watching DVDs. It's rare that something doesn't work in it. VLC when necessary. Sometimes I have to use Real, too. So, in that order.

For all you Real and Quicktime haters: http://www.codecguide.com/ has Quicktime Alternative and Real Alternative so you can play (most) of those videos in Media Player Classic.

I usually use Media Player 10. It works for what I want it to, and if it doesn't I use VideoLAN, because it plays more things. The interface sucks tho. I hate Winamp 5. I only use it for audio, mostly because of streaming.

Irfanview is the best image viewer around.
