Mystic Eye's site now has a newsletter to sign up for!

It is located in the lower left side of the main page.

Get the info hot off the keyboard, hear about special projects, and deals at our online store, email info@mysticeyegames.com and ask "The Blinking Eye" (our version of "The Sage") questions about any of our stuff, dating, etc.. and see if he replies to you in the newsletter! Just put "Dear Blinking Eye" in the subject line and ask away.... if your questions gets posted your name gets added again to the chance to win the drawing

Also every person who signs up for the newsletter gets included in our monthly drawing, so you have a chance to win thrice, once from our online store sign up and once for being on our newsletter e-mail list and once for getting your question added to our newsletter in the "Ask the Blinking Eye" column*.

Good luck and looking forward to giving more stuff away to our MEG fans!

* "Ask the Blinking Eye" may not be the final name of this column, it was a spur of the moment idea and I have nothing finalized.

Up coming products, maybe some behind the scenes making of type columns. You know a real look into what it's like being a game designer. Maybe you could get some of the companies you do print stuff for. like ambient, to contribute stuff. You could also use it to throw out some enhancements for differnt products that you already have out, as well as the occasional new free bee material. A new feat or monster here and there for example. Also it might be cool to see "spotlight" columns on diffent artists and writers that have done work for MEG.

BTW, tha apes are wicked smahhhtt! too. :p

What to talk about and your HTML newsletter

Hal:

Good to hear you're putting out a newsletter. I just signed up (more on that in a second).

As to what should be in it... well, the above idea of a behind the scenes look at the design would be cool. Here's an idea: how about a discussion of how you decided what real world content would factor into Dry Land? What cultures did you pull from? Were there things from those cultures that just didn't work in the Bluffside Campaign Setting?

Another idea: what got cut? This will tie into another mention above. Listen to what everybody says about things that got left out and use that feedback to determine which pieces from the editing room floor to put out as Web Enhancements.

Now, about the HTML version of the newsletter... I just signed up and the confirmation email was obviously supposed to be in HTML. It wasn't. Instead it was all the HTML code as simple text. Essentially, gobbledygook. Think your guys can fix that?
