Anything more specific on the release date?

Yeah, and any chance I can come by to visit you guys? I want a sneak peak so I can tell my customers all about it.

Fantasy Flight's Path of Shadow was great, but there are just so many ways to go with the Rogue because of the skill points.

Plenty of room for more "Rogue" stuff. :)

No offense, but don't we have enough variant classes, prestige classes, feats, etc.? Although i do hear a couple of interesting ideas, more of the above just feels like padding.

What i would love to see is a focus on integrating rules (such as (prestige) classes and feats) in a roleplaying environment. So instead of choosing a new prestige class, how do you get it, do you have to join an organization, etc. etc. Same goes for learning new feats, is it something that comes natural or is it thaught by a sensei from a certain school, and how do they view... Half Orcs for example? Far to many new skills, (prestige) classes, feats, spells, magic items feel like to are just there to make characters more powerful.

Sorry my initial reaction is "What another splat-book?" I can't help but think this particular niche market has been done to death already.

I wish you well but I also wish you'd come up with a different sort of niche...
:)

What I hope to see is some new legendary classes. FFG made it open but thus far, only Ambient in their Archer's book had another Legendary Class.

Sure! I have been meaning to drop you a line but have been laid up due to an injury these past two weeks. I am just now getting back to the keyboard. I will drop you a line.

I think once you see this book you will find there is no padding, it is all useful material, and that it is not simply another splat book. It may not contain everything you are suggesting above but it is a really awesome rogue book. I will get the Author to come here and talk more about it.
