THE EARTH REVEALS ALL TO THE SKY…
The land stretches above the shadowed veil of the sea, exposed to the
air and sky. Though caves may reach far beneath the dry land's
sun-flooded surface, none of these dry-earth depths can wrap around
you, gripping so tight that your very chest cannot rise and fall to
breathe. Deep caves beneath the dry earth may encroach uncomfortably
around you in darkness, but cannot grip you and hold you in a killing
embrace. While creatures most foul may call the underdark lair, their
presence is nothing like the density of life beneath the waves, lived
in a darkness deeper than any found beneath the surface of the earth…

…WHILE THE SEA KEEPS HER SECRETS.
Beneath the waves, creatures monstrous and unfamiliar swim all around
you in primal hunger, and they're all looking straight at you.
Everything that swims here is food for something, and while this may
be
as true on land as in the sea, the sea is much more obvious in her
hunger for your participation in the tides of life. In the sea, your
focus is reduced to two critical questions: Will you feed? Or will
you
be food? All who enter the ocean's depths are bound to this compact,
to
serve life in whatever capacity they will—as predator or prey, you
will
serve the sea-mother, and she cares not which.

You who were born on the land, the deeper you go beneath the surface
of
the sea, the more you come to know that you have entered an entirely
new world, one eerily familiar yet alien, where the very water itself
pushes itself against you in the most stifling pressure you have ever
known, more close than any cave or tunnel beneath the parched and
vaulted mountains, more immediate and demonstrative than the weak
pull
of the thirsty earth. The sea is the mother of all—she loves you, and
she holds you close. She offers up her treasures to those strong
enough
to overcome her challenges. There is abundance here, riches beyond
the
ken of anything found in the world of land and sky, if you have the
courage to overcome the mounting pressures of the deep…

Is this going to be tied into the Hunt or Bluffside? Perhaps using the one aquatic race from Bluffside? Ah, senility hunts me down otherwise I'd remember their name.

Hardcover? Soft?

Hi Joe, it will be hardcover. It will contain some Bluffside stuff but is not directly a Bluffside book. It will be entirely stand alone. However, the race in question will be in it.

Just wondering if this will be reusing any of the relevant OGC from Seafarer's Handbook?

I have not seen the final list of OGC for this book but I do not believe we are using anything from SH.

Well, I could be misremembering, but if I recall, the Hunt itself used some of the material from Seas of Blood so if anything gets used, it'd probably come from that avenue.
