Depends. How do the Elvises (or is it "Elvi"?) handle combat?

It depends - do you consider amateur theater as LARPing?

Regardless, I still have the feeling that the majority of these impersonators would still call D&D "evil and weird."

it seems to be some abscure and ununderstandable hip thrusting, much like odd birds from galapagos, except unlike the birds, they don't eventually quit from sheer emberassment

Mmm...I smell a hijack!

Well, speaking of Memphis, I'm going to throw out a plug for the Memphis Comedy Festival coming up September 5-9. Okay, technically the festival's in Tunica, but close enough. It's sponsored by (I believe) Bally's casino, and there are going to be some fabulous improv comedy groups there from across the country. Of course, the fact that my troupe is gonna be on the main stage has nothing at all to do with this plug...

one of the casinos tewligan?

i had a roommate who was in Purple Crayon at yale and got me addicted to improv...more info please!
