Does anyone know where I can find a transcript of the d20 Modern Menace Manual chat held by the writers during WOTC's UnCon on Sept. 1st?

I'd like to find that as well.

Here is what I know about the product

1) It's release date is 12th Sepetember

2) For WotC Product List (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=products/d20m/177610000)

Designed for use with the d20 Modern Roleplaying Game, the d20 Menace Manual presents a host of villains, monsters, and other adversaries to pit against the heroes in any modern roleplaying game. It contains extensive real-world information, including information about existing organizations such as the CIA and write-ups of well-known mythical creatures such as the yeti and sasquatch. Adversaries for all levels of play are available, as are various allies, and there is extensive information on organization and factions that heroes can either join or combat.

For fans of the Alternity system: Along with other material, the d20 Menace Manual contains organizations from Dark*Matter and aliens from Star*Drive updated and converted to the d20 Modern Roleplaying Game.

Emphasis mine.

I have also asked this question on the unCon board.

Received the following reply on the WotC boards:

The transcripts will be available on the UnCon page. Since most WizOs are still very busy with UnCon we haven't had the time to prepare them yet. However, they will probably appear on the website next week.
If the transcripts aren't available as a download by Friday feel free to send me an e-mail (uncon@wizardsmoderator.com).

Hoo-hah!

If ever a setting was cut down in its prime, it was Dark Matter.

Maybe, the upcoming d20 Future will use some of the good stuff from Star*Drive, too.

And this is out September 12? Next week? One of the good things about working seven days a week lately...time flies.

Dark Matter is my all time favourite game setting. Personally I think that that should be been d20 Modern's first campaign book.

Well, if there's a problem with Dark*Matter now, it's that the world has changed so fast. Post-911, stories about secret conspiracies, aliens among us, government plots, and keeping the truth hidden all take on a different tone.

Having said that...I tend to pulp things up quite a bit, and I think many of the ideas in Dark*Matter could be used in a less dark campaign...more along the lines of Buckaroo Banzai or Challengers of the Unknown or even Men in Black. More sensawunda, less angst over the fact that the bad guys will eventually win, or have already won. And d20 Modern supports the right type of heroes for this kind of game.

I'll be emailing the Authors of the d20 Modern Menace Manual to have a chat in the IRC d20modern room in the coming weeks.

Also the TGM staff will be doing a chat TOMMORW.
It will include stuff like City Quarters, Modern GM Screen, MPC print, and more.
