Nice cover. Very nice.

I'm hoping this'll be more than a rehash of familiar Monster Manual critters...and I wonder if it will adopt the D&D 3.5 convention of full-page entries with monster tactics.

Have you seen a review of the contents somewhere, as the cover (while nice) doesn't look to me as if it is a Monster Manual type of book...

Indeed. The cover seems to show all humans, and highlights unarmed combat, guns, and armor Not sure if that will be the subject, but I think it's a reasonable possibility.

Maybe it'll be along the lines of "Enemies and Allies" --- lots of pregen characters, from secret agents to terrorists to cult leaders.

Turns out it's chock full of not only real-world monsters, but real-world groups and societies too! This sounds perfect for my up coming Dark?Matter d20 game.
