D&D 5E Menacing Attack question

MenacingAttack. When you hit a creature with aweapon attack, you can expend one superiority die toattempt to frighten the target. You add the superioritydie to the attack’s damage roll, and the target mustmake a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, it isfrightened of you until the end of your next turn.

Does that mean that the creature only has disadvantage on attack against "you"? I mean, being "frightened" as a condition gives you disadvantage on attack rolls. But since this maneuver mentions "of you", does this penalty only apply against the fighter that used the maneuver?

Read the wording of the Frightened condition:

* disadvantage on ALL ability checks and attack rolls while YOU are in line of sight
* can't willingly move closer to YOU.
