Mention vs email addresses

Is there a way to prevent the forums from interpreting the @ sign as a mention, so that I can put an email address in a post? As there appears to be a user called 'Wizard', the WotC email addresses seem get converted to a mention, which isn't terribly useful!

Why not just use [at]? Is there something wrong with that? It is generally good to mask the adresses on forums, as spammers bots tend to pick them up and.. umm, what rhymes with forums?

Enclosing the @-sign with {noparse}{/noparse} tags should do it.

Only put the {noparse} tags around the @ sign. For example:

{noparse}@{/noparse}darjr

gives:
@darjr

Otherwise it is parsed as a mention:

@darjr
