[Merged] Old Dice Thread 1 & 2

Yeah, I have a 30 sider made of the same low end plastic that is so worn down I could probably use it as a perpetual motion machine.

I still have my d20, d4, d6, and d8 from my Basic Set. They are fairly worn, but I wouldn't part with them.

I also have the same set (well an identical set (well they are a different color but they are from the Basic set)) in mint condition, still in their plastic bag :D

Ahh...but now ... THEY ARE ONE THREAD!

One! ONE THREAD! (Insert Count Dracula maniacal laughter and lightning a la Sesame Street here)

Incidentally, I have a few of those still kicking around, too, though I eagerly switched to the dice with the printed numbers as soon as they were available (though I picked some ugly sets ... I have a couple of glitter/transparent, colored transparent, and some marbly nailpolish colors that came out).

However, I still keep a transparent, purple, white-crayon-filled d20 that I bought when I thought my cat had lost the d20 that came with my Basic D&D set. It's edges are still pretty sharp, and I think it's one of the nicest dice in my set.

NOOOOOO!
Do you realize what you have done? Now Maria will find new and devious ways to lay sage to my paycheck to sate her appetite for dice. Damn you!

:D

That site is pretty cool though.

And for those craving the 'crayon required' type dice, check out Chessex's website, their 'raw transparents' line comes with the numbers uncolored, just waiting for you to buy and get your crayola groove on with.
