One of my favorite ttrpg blogs is Merric's Musings by enworld regular @MerricB . I haven't seen any activity on the blog (or his Bluesky, or on these forums for that matter) in many months. Does anyone know if he stepped away for a bit, or what?

Funny, I was just thinking that I hadn’t seen any posts from him in a while. His profile shows he was last here on August 1. Hope he’s enjoying a long vacation.

I’m friends with him on Goodreads and noticed that he has been rating books over there as of a few days ago, so perhaps he is taking time away from the online forums.

Thanks for sharing this Mike. Quite a few of us have been concerned about his sudden disappearance, so this is good news. I sent an email to his workplace a few weeks ago asking about his welfare. They responded that they couldn't share any information for privacy reasons, but that my note had been "passed on." I heard nothing else.

For whatever reason, Merric seems to have decided to withdraw from online conversation for the time being - perhaps a social media detox. I hope he is doing ok.

I was wondering this as well since his last post on his site was in April. Glad to see others were wondering as well and tried to dot check in. Hopefully we’ll hear from him soon as I enjoy his articles and feedback.
