"Merry Krampas, a Steampunk Santa with Krampus", by Steven Austin.

It's that time of year again! And this Christmas, Nevermet Press is hosting a "Krampus Carnival" and has invited websites and bloggers to join in. This is a blog carnival where they invite everyone in the gaming, fiction and publishing blogosphere to write about Krampus in one way or another during the week of December 19th – 24th. On Christmas Day they’ll post a Krampus Round-Up. You should see Krampus stats for various systems, artwork, fiction, and much more.

So, from everyone at EN World - wish you a Merry Chri... errr... Krampus, and a Happy New Year! Be sure to check out our 2011 roundup article which lists the most popular news items, reviews, and articles of the year. We'll have sporadic news updates between now and the New Year, and will be jumping back into full swing at the beginning of January.

A pity I missed this thread until now.

For some time now I have been setting up Krampus as a new antagonist in my game. I made the krampus a male hag, of sorts, son of a night hag and second night hag shape-changed into male form. A natural-born hag-slayer, the krampus was imprisoned by his mother upon the floating island shell of a dead zaratan.

That shell became entrapped within the Weed-Sea; the Jungle of Lost Ships and is now occupied by the Ninety and Nine. The krampus himself now swims beneath the surface of the sea, for trapped within the misshapen bones protruding from his back (my version of the sack/basket) is a young sea hag. He has stolen her powers to dwell in the depths as he bides his time.

That being said, this still scares the bejeebers out of me:
