[meta] New name for the reviews page?

BTW, Problem with the reviewers list...

While looking at the new format just now, I noticed that the reviewers list seems to crash when it gets to my name (after Thundersomething, anyway).

Looking at what I reviewed, I noticed that I seem to have 2 identical reviews of 1 product - AEG's mini adventure "Castle Zadrian".

Is that causing the problem, maybe? I can't seem to edit either one - when I try, I get an error.

Then when I look at my list of reviews, I get an error after the 2nd listing of Castle Zadrian.

Anyway, if it is, sorry - dunno how I managed to add a review twice. But I'm very good at breaking things accidently.

Anyway, if you need help with data entry, let me know. Since I've written 40 or so reviews, I'm not too likely to screw things up...

Be acreful what you offer... I may take you up on it! :)

Seriously, though - the data entry part is going to take far longer than the coding part, and is going to be incredibly tedious. So much info to gather from various sources on any given product, and then to input correctly, some of it requiring formatting etc. Any help would certainly be appreciated (Eric has also offered to help, thank goodness!)

I'm also considering implementing a mimimum review length. I want the system to be use for useful, detailed reviews not for random comments.

My intitial thought is a min, lenght of 600 character (even that is fairly short). That way, if some puts a short, useless review in, the system will say "C'mon, you don't seriously call that a review, do you?"

Well, then don't forget to put your own hero builders guidebook review in the comment section, it doesn't have the required length I think :p

also where is the comment section for a product? it will be available later, or do you refer to the comment review section?

for the section title: d20 Guide&Review (d20GR for a short term)?

also a suggestion, the available now at the right of each product in the company listing could be a direct link toward ENstore.

Morrus, I think I can take some time out to help you with the data entry. You can contact me at crgreathouse@yahoo.com if you need the help. I respond quickly to email, provided I'm awake - 2 PM to 6 AM your time.

What?!

"The Snotty Little World of Mixed Up Values: No Consistent Policies Except to Protect Its Own Ass" isn't in the running?

OUTRAGE!

Well, I guess it's a little too long for a snappy logo.

I hope the new weighting system works out as good as it sounds like it will. My only concern is that anybody who would abuse the existing system is just as likely to abuse the new one... somehow.

Frankly my only complaint about the way you had it was that it was so slow to browse-- but then again I suppose that's because you've been working on it behind the scenes all this time.
