Mezzoloth

In Ruins of Myth Drannor Adventure there is a reference to a Mezzoloth in Chapter 5 (reportedly trapped inside a fist-sized ruby). I went through MM, MM-II, and MoF and could not find this creature's stats.

I presume the Mezzoloth is a yugoloth but could not find anything in my conversion files either.

Does anyone know if this creature even existed in 2E, and if it did, if there is a conversion for it out there?

Thanks

The creature was found in the Placescape Montrous Compendium Supplement. An official 3rd edition conversion is found in the Manual of the Planes.

The mezzoloth was in 1st edition a mezzodaemon. I'm not sure what may have changed between 1st and second, but here is a conversion of a mezzodaemon.

It looks to me as if the person doing the conversion reduced the mezzoloth's spell abilities just a tad. If you want the full thing add hold person, mirror image, and sleep to the list, and add cloudkill to the once per day list.
