middle earth and psionics

how feasible would it be to include psionics in a middle earth rpg? was there any real evidence, outside of the mindlink typically used by elves and maiar?

You might want to file the serial numbers off the standard PsiHB and call it, uh, Sylvan Synergy or The High Speech or something. Not an expert, but the actual term 'psionics' doesn't sound Middle-Earthian - the abilities, on the other hand, do. There are a couple that just scream 'Beorn!' to me.
