D&D 5E (2014) Midnight Campaign Setting Conversion?

Legend
I ran a short intro 5E scenario in Midnight with pre-gen characters. It took place in Swift Water. Its a village that is more or less sheltered from the atrocities of outside world as they supply most of the alcohol to area. The Orcs overseeing and administering justice for the Shadow turn a blind eye on things as long as they are kept plied with drink. Now the players are making characters of their own this week and I want to give the setting a worthy portrayal but I'm reluctant to do the conversion because I know Edge Studio is working on a 5E version.

Has anybody done any race/class conversions on their own they'd be willing to share? It'd be much appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

I haven't played Midnight in a very long time, and have never played it using 5e. It remains my favourite campaign setting, bar none. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Edge will find a way to preserve the grim feel of the setting in its 5e update.

Great thanks for the links, I'll check them out. Not sure I want to go through the trouble of doing the conversion when the possibility of the Edge edition coming soon is pretty likely. And we are planning on having a few DMs running games so getting all of us to agree on a conversion is a whole other reason why I'm leery to start that task. I only found out about the setting when it was announced that Edge was redoing it last year. I liked the concept and bought the 2 versions of the campaign settings and read bits and pieces here and there while I started the campaign. I like what I've read and played and 'm looking forward to Edges book, hopefully its not too far off.
