Mike has another update that's sure to be controversial at his blog ;)

Wonder Twin Powers [General Feat]

You have a twin who works in tandem with you. The two of you always act at the same time.

Benefit: You and your twin may roll once for initiative for the two of you. If you act on the same initiative, you may act simultaneously. You each take your move action, then each take your standard action, and so forth.
If the two of you attack the same foe, you gain a +2 bonus on the attack. If you both cast the same spell, the target suffers -1 on his saves and you gain a +2 bonus on your rolls to overcome spell resistance.

Special: You and your twin must both take this feat to gain its benefits.

Not to be outdone with trampling on many people memories of the Rust Monster & Ogre Magi, or suggesting more bookwork for DMs, now he's ruining our memories of the Super Friends :)

Is there any chance that he is making fun of the Faerun 'Thunder Twin' dwarf regional feat?
Maybe that's in there, but the discussions on his blog are mostly comparing the ability to turn into any animal against the ability to turn into water.

(Also, I'm not sure sure about "making fun." This seems perfectly functional to me. I think he's just "having fun" and came up with an interesting feat.)

I think that both players should also have to shout 'Wonder Twin powers activate!' in unison each time they want to use the feat.

I think there should be a power that lets like 10 PCs combine into one giant PC... like those combinable transformers...

Or like better yet, a power that lets one pc have the power of like 10 PCs... and then catch on fire... and sprout NINJAS for arms!!!

YES!

Interesting.

Probably balanced.

I think I'm going to require all five of my players' characters to take it -- and select the person to their left as the designated twin.
