I had my first session of my new game on June 8th, a Sunday. People made characters, and we started with the action. We figured Sunday afternoons were good, because almost nothing happens on Sunday afternoons.
I work at a library, though, and this past Sunday, a coworker had to leave town to visit sick relatives, and I got the chance to work a few hours and make a hundred bucks. I figured, hey, sounds pretty keen. I'll do this; the game can afford one hiatus, right?
Well, the guy's gone again this Sunday. I really don't want to skip two weeks in a row for a brand new game -- it'll kill enthusiasm -- but I also don't want to pass up another hundred bucks. I mean, after all, the job pretty much just requires sitting at a desk, helping the 5 or 10 people who come to the library over the course of the day. It's not busy, and I can even do a bit of writing while I'm there.
I'm going to go to work, but dang it, it's annoying.
