I was reading the "Action Point per encounter" thread, and that got me thinking about my house rules. Here's what I've come up with;
Milestones
There are no longer any milestones.
If something checks if you've reached at least one milestone (such as some rings), check your magic item uses. If you have more than the standard number of magic item uses (1 at heroic tier, 2 at paragon tier, and 3 at epic tier), you are considered to have reached a milestone.
Magic Item Daily Powers
After each encounter, each player rolls a d6. On a roll of 4 or greater, that player gains an additional daily magic item use.
Action Points
Replace the second bullet in the Earning Action Points section with the following;
• You gain 1 action point each encounter.
Add the following after the third bullet in Spend An Action Point: Free Action;
• Once per Round: You may only spend an action point once per round.
Thoughts?
EDIT: I forgot to mention, the thing I'm most trying to figure is the "recharge MIs" thing; Would that be hard to remember? Would it be better if I put it at the beginning of an encounter? should I unrandomize it (even though it should average out to once every two encounters, like normal)?
