DM Lair recently pulled an ongoing KS that was on track to being funded (I believe) because it did not fund fast enough and they could see the writing on the wall / that they would not break even even though it would fund. They had a video about the math behind it and how fake funding goals actually are (they are set to feed the algorithm, not as realistic goals)</blockquote>
