My party (well... me.) adopted a mimic ("Blue") that we freed from a place it was being abused. It had a bunch of friends. We freed them too (even got 'em jobs...).

'Course, it turns out that Blue was the Grand Druid _disguised_ as a mimic keeping an eye on us for a few years.

Extreme GM head-fake.
