Mind Blank Question

Before I start I should say that this particular Mind Blank question has nothing to do with the recurring discussion about what Mind Blank does or does not protect from.

That said, the spell description says that it protects from all Mind-effecting effects.

Let's say that someone casts Prayer (mind-effecting) and then casts Mind Blank on you. Is the prayer cancelled for you?

First, it is mind-affecting, not mind-effecting.

Second, it does not cancel the Prayer spell, it suppresses it for the duration. It does not matter if a mind-affecting spell is cast first, Mind Blank still protects against it. If the Mind Blank is dispelled before the Prayer duration expires, then the Prayer spell will then go back into effect.
