Also, another thing to consider is what order to put the monsters in.

We could order them alphabetically, or

by CR (ustilagor, illithocyte, gohlbrorn, nerve swimmer, voor larva, mind worm, draknor, brainstealer dragon), or

by length (i.e., word count): (illithocyte, gohlbrorn, ustilagor, voor larva, mind worm, nerve swimmer, brainstealer dragon, draknor), or

by chronological order of first appearance (ustilagor, draknor, gohlbrorn, illithocyte, voor larva, brainstealer dragon, mind worm, nerve swimmer), or

from positive to negative on its relationship with mind flayers (nerve swimmer, ustilagor, brainstealer dragon, mind worm, gohlbrorn, illithocyte, draknor, voor larva) or reverse that, or

… well, you get the idea. “no particular order” is fine as well, but it would help to have an order to use even if it’s arbitrary.

Let's see, in Dragon 328,

The spells in the spellcraft article are sorted by alpha
The items in Bazaar of the Bizarre are sorted by Alpha
The shifter traits are sorted by alpha
The spells in the PrC section are sorted by alpha
The flaws in Nobody's perfect are sorted by race (which is sorted by alpha), then by alpha

I guess you get the idea.

Thanks Otu/Ash, glad you approve. Rather than rush to get it in, I think I'll at least give Shade until Monday morning to look at it, but I really have to send it in by then. He wasn't feeling well on Friday, so he has an excuse.

hmm, i actually stole that line from the 2E Monstrous Manual. i guess beholders were left off since their numbers are significantly smaller than the other races and individual members don't work together.

-"More Tentacular Goodness"--I like it, but I bet the editors won't.

too bad, they can change it then.

-Alphabetize the related creatures and prestige classes lists.

will do that.

in my e-mail, i will make a note about the "In the Eberron/Faerun" sections and other notes that i can recall.

Shade, did you see MrNevers' illustrations? i'm hoping he can do some more for us later.
