Mind Flayer Minis

Anyone know of where to get a good mind flayer miniature or two.

Reaper Miniatures has two mind flayers in their Dark Heaven Legends line.

One Mind Flayer

Another Mind Flayer

I have both minis. They are nicely detailed, especially the latter one (although the staff tip is a touch delicate).

reaper is your best bet although I think one of the 3 different ones I have is a ral partha. if you can get to a GenCon the sales tables and the acution are both great places to get them, you could also try amazon.com from time to time I have seen a good variety of out of print or hard to find stuff.

there are at least 4 different mini's because I don't have the first one in the picture and the other 2 I have are both differnt then #2

Maybe you should go for the cheap and shocking option...

take any humanoid mini and super-glue three live maggots to it's head. Watch the shock and revulsion on the players faces as you take the figure from behind the screen and place it writhing and sqirming on to the table.

This sounds so good I might try it for my next Cthulhu game!

I have the Reaper ones and an few of the older Ral Partha figs.

I like the Ral Partha ones better. The new ones are much bigger in size comaped to the old ones.
Perhaps Iron Wind will be reproducing these as blister packs soon again.

It is an awsome idea, though it might not work quite so well.
