Mind Flayers Attack & Defense Modes?

I know there is a new Psionics Handbook coming out for 3.5E but does anyone know if WOTC ever published a revised write up for Mind Flayers for innate Psionic Powers? Githyanki and Githzerai both have innate attack and defense modes which they can manifest at no cost but to my knowledge they neglected the Mind Flayer. As written, any psionic character would be able to psionically destroy a Mind Flayer in combat by dealing the ability damage from attack modes.

Or since the mind flayer is a psionic creature, you, as DM, could assign it whichever attack and defense modes you want it to have using the 3e PsiHB.

I don't use psionic combat in my games, but if I did I'd give the mind flayer full access to all attack and defence modes. Nothing says "master of psionics" to me as much as mind flayers do.
