In the magic item compendium there is an armor property "mindarmor" which grants 3 times a day (for 1 round) a + 5 to saving throws against mind affecting spells (as a immediate action).
So if an enemy spellcaster casts a spell at my character, and the DM says "now make your saving throw (will save)", am I allowed to activate the mindarmor at this point (I know it's immediate, but the spell has already been cast)? Isn't it too late then? But if I have to activate the mindarmor before he casts the spell, then the property seems useless to me.
