Minds in Hedrad: (NF's Scarred Lands Psionic Game!)

Samahtar slowly sends a message to Ivor: <<Yes, I can indeed say that I, nor any of my compatriots, were involved in this killing.>>

After the page comes into the room, Samahtar then projects at Arton. <<Calm down. The boy has obviously been quite frightened, and it will not help if you become angry with him. If someone is dead, haste will not change the fact - and more than likely, said someone's killer is already gone. Slow and steady wins the race, after all...>

Ivor nods "As you see, and the Justicar agrees, Arton, there is no malice to them."

The Justicar nods and says "Speak page. We must have details. For now, deal with me."

Arton is quite stung by this remark but manages to control himself.

The page speaks "No long after this morn, there was strange sounds coming from one of the local mages studying here, Wenton Harvok. Then there was a cry and then nothing. That was what was reported to the guards by me. They then.." he gasp and sucks in breath "went inside, careful to do so. They found him, his torso severed from the rest of him, impaled on a spike and his arms and legs apparently set in a corner in his study room. Thus they reported to me."

The horror and scope of this is not lost on any. Samahtar, you however sense an unguarded emotion from him, that of not joy but a slight satification. If you had to guess you'd say he cares little for mages either. Verity you sense this too.

Verity bows to Justicar Revos, happy with his judgment. He starts slightly as the young messenger dashes in, and is somewhat surprised by the emotion coming from him.

<<Samahtar, can you sense what I can from that young human? It seems even those of an arcane bent are little liked in this area.>>

<OoC> I meant to say Arton in my last post is the one you sense this satification </Ooc>

Ivor recovers from his shock. "Well now I think this proves that it cannot be these gentlemen here. They've been here all this time."

Both Revos and Arton look mildly shocked by this statement. Arton fumes "Illogical! We don't know if it's the same person or persons or whatever that killed poor Brother Tirerias. Only that the wizard was murdered. For all we know, he could have summoned a demon and it backfired!"

Revos, shakes his head. "I'd hardly think there would be anything of the guards if that were true. But I do agree it's presumteous of us to think the crimes are related. At least right now."

<<Yes, Verity, I am able to sense what the young human thinks. I agree - it does seem odd that even those of the arcane persuasion are not welcome in this place.>>

<<...I admit I am uncertain as to how to continue into this. I do not have a plan of action... do you have one to recommend?>>

<<For the moment, aid the Justicars. If we help them, we should remove doubts to our innocence, and perhaps learn more about Brother Tirerias' death.>>

<ooc> Anyone think we might need to close up shop? I think perhaps you guys aren't have fun...? </ooc>
(If you want to start a thread in the TTT (OOC) forum, that would work for me. I think we should discuss the subject before we make that decision. I know I have some things to say.)
