Mindwarp staff?

Hey,

under the superior implement mindwarp staff it says that it has the distant property (range of area and range attacks increases by two when used through a distant impl.) but when i equip it the char. builder doesn't alter the ranges listed on the char. sheets. Is this something that i will need to change manually or am i not understanding the property? my chaos bolt (stand. at-will) range doesnt change

Sounds like a bug. You should submit a bug report, but deal with it manually in the meanwhile.

When you first start up CB and get the splash screen, showing the updates, there's a link in the update list area that takes you to a webpage, to report bugs.

I don't think it is a bug. The program only inserts the ability mods to the power description. Anything else is left the same (for example, if you take a fighting style to target Reflex with an At-Will instead of AC, the power description doesn't change).

I dunno, might be a bug. I noticed the same thing with the Astral Holy Symbols. Not only did it not update the range (despite saying it was using it through the Astral Symbol), it did not update the damage on the radiant powers either.

So, it could have been intentional, but usually things like +damage, etc. are carried into the CB's character sheets.

There are a number of little issues like this, in CB. Another example that I submitted to the bugs link, and that was fixed in a subsequent update, was that the Weapon of Summer didn't automatically add the additional 1d8 damage to attacks. One that still exists is that the Eladrin Ring of Passage doesn't automatically add 1 to the distance of teleports (2 if the character is Eladrin).
