If Poly has to stay in Dungeon and they continue to do d20 mini-games, which types do you prefer?

Me? I like those that have a strong basis in D&D so that I can easily add them to my campaign. I've used a lot of stuff from the Spelljammer and Incrusion material but little else outside of that.

I'd love to see them update some of the older, off the wall settings or plot devices like the Sheen or perhaps an OGL Dark Space.

I want designers to constantly challenge everytime someone says "No, you can't do [Name of Genre] with d20!!!"

But my personal preference is less on fantasy, more on modern and futuristics. Also, a children-friendly mini-game to introduce the younger crowd.

I couldn't care less about d20 cheerleading, so voted for genres that stack easily on D&D.

I couldn't either really, but I voted for all, because once in a while some other type of game (v for victory) comes along that I'd really like to play. They make good reading I find...

I agree 100% that some of the games like Mecha Crusade make fantastic reading.

I've never played it.

Or the Musician One.

Of the Shadow Hunters one.

I have used Insursion and the Spelljammer bits though.

I guess I find that as I get older, I really have less and less time for 'reading' as opposed to playing.

Even as a reviewer who gets a lot of material, I find myself cutting back on my buying thinking, "I am really going to be using this?"

This fall when Games Plus has their auction, I'll probably have a lot more stuff for the old pile than last year. So many d20s to roll and so little time to roll them in...

I like varity, besides even if i never end up using them almost all of them have made for good reading.

I will say i'm really wanting to run Iron lords of jupiter.

I've enjoyed reading some of the mini-games, avoided others entirely, and never used any of them. That said, I'd be most likely to use elements of the fantasy-themed ones, with the occasional modern/CoC-esque one as a close second (I voted for stackable fantasy).

Well a lot of the Dungeon adventures look interesting, but one hardly ever gets the chance to play them.

I think when WotC did a survey they found that most ppl read the stuff, but rarely ever played it.

My group played that mini-game repeatedly. Perhaps because we like to deviate from too many D&D sessions. We didn't want to burn out on D&D so we take a break and use other d20 games.

Yeah, that'd be cool. Could also be used to introduce grownups, actually.

I hope Polyhedron do more wacky stuff like the music thing. New ideas, far-out concepts and bizarre thinking is what makes the mini-games useful.

For my D&D campaign, I've already got about 200 books to mine for ideas...:D So I don't feel like I need even more material in my Polyhedron. Even though the Incursion thing was cool...

Cheers
