Miniature Suggestions Requested

Hey all, a friend requested I find and paint up a good mini for a gnome psion.

Yeah, GNOME PSION.

I've trolled through reaper, but couldn't find much (they have about 10 minis between halfling and gnome.)

Anyone know of any good pewter gnomes out there? Prefer a caster-looking type of some sort.

Assistance is much appreciated.

Reaper has 48 gnomes, but you just have to search for them (though some of those might be dwarves).

What kind of appearance do you want for your Gnome Psion?

Seriously, Gnomes are not that much different from halflings, hobbits, or smaller dwarfs when we see as minis. They are all just small people. Also, Psion does not truly have their own traditional look. Bold? Maybe? Maybe not.

So, would you please exactly what you need? What is important to you?

Should he be bold headed? Should he be wearing some Sci-Fi closings than to be wearing fantasy/medieval style? What do you want him to have his hands? Are there any other particular feature you want to give him?

I've seen all of the Reaper minis and some are ok, just looking for more options (halfling or gnome doesn't really matter, since they're both small, etc..) to provide before he makes a decision.

I haven't found any other company that makes any halfling or gnomes and was hoping someone might have some suggestions.

Hmm, when I ran a one-shot with a gnome psion/something or other in 3.5, the player chose the Nebbin mini out of my collection (I have a buttload of the D&D minis and a bunch of other random ones as well).

Edit: There was a pewter Nebbin, too- I think WotC stopped doing pewter early in the 3e era, but they did a few.

There are all kinds of companies out there making minis of little races- I did a quick google search for "gnome minis" and got several hits, some of which I'd post but I have to go for an appointment.

Games Workshop is selling miniatures for their the Lord of the Rings game. Thus, they are making hobbits.

They are not gnomes nor halflings, but some miniature makers (including Reaper) making human children minis so you may found something interesting amongst them.

If you want something really different, Hasslefree Miniatures is making both zombie-movie-like naughty children and strange WW II like halflings.
