I got mine yesterday and I really like it. Yeah it is not as tall as some others but it is in a different pose. The paint job on mine is really good. Much better than my pathetic chimera I have which is mostly one color.

The legs of the rider are part of the dragon's mold, so you'd have to server the rider at the waist and then paint the legs black. The legs probably would look like part of the dragon if they were black.

Eww. AT least it will be good trade bait at the FLGS.

Anyone think It will be popular enough to get an eldritch giant or a dracolich?

Take your huge red and turn it so that the body is level with the black and tell me that they are that different in size.

I checked this out last night and I don't see that much of a differece. The HRD has bigger wings, yes, but body size they seem pretty darn close to me. It's just the post of the black, being down on all fours that makes him seem smaller.

I received the promo Huge Black Dragon today in the mail. I have to admit that the mini is very disappointing. It is about half the size of a huge dragon from Giants of Legend. The huge base dwarfs the mini and makes it look pathetic.

I just got mine last night, and I gotta say my reaction to this comment is "WTF?"

'tis a very cool mini. And if the base was any smaller, the mini wouldn't have anywhere to stand! I don't get this complaint at all.

I received mine a few days ago and the paint job is horrible. The head of the rider is a big blob of gray and brown muck, with no discernable facial features at all. Did anyone else get a lousy paint job?
