Minis: Snakemen and Cult Leader

see. all my old minatures.. I used to only paint with blending.. it looks better.. just takes a long time.. and these minatures remind me just how good blending can look.. now.. I tend to ink a lot more.. I just don't have the time. mores the pity.

Thanks for all the kind words. :-)

...and this from a guy who has about 80 issues worth of White Dwarf 'eavy Metal articles...

White Dwarf has been an inspiration; theres always something fantastic for the Golden Demon competition. The same with CoolMiniOrNot; some of the work there is breathtaking; of a whole different class of skill.

I've been doing this for a couple of years and still feel like there's still so much to explore in terms of technique and style (which is, on the whole, a good thing!)

Wow, i've seen some good painting, but yours is excellent!! I've painted my share and got a little praise but i got nothin on you. You're a pro in my book, thanks for shareing the pics.

Same here - although I'm anxiously dreading getting a digital camera and finding out that they're not as good as I thought! Anyway, the snakemen are superb. Man, I need to learn blending... my ink jobs always look crappy.

It is your ink. Buy Winsor & Newton ink, in particular thier brown (they call it something else). This ink is much thinner than GW's or Reapers and does not require watering down.
